Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, Le Corbusier’s Villa Savoye, Mies van der Rohe’s Barcelona Pavilion, and projects of equal fame in the design world have their rightful place on the cover of glossy design books and at the top of every architecture professor’s syllabus, but these projects do not embody all the necessary teachings of the design world.
