Tape begins with standard black and white base tiles that feature eight modern patterns in five different shades. The small, colorful patterns lay on top of the raw tiles, at first hard to decipher until you get closer. Tape can be used indoors and out, and for both floors and walls, with an endless array of possible combinations. Yael Mer and Shay Alkalay, of Raw Edges say:
We imagined this collection to seem as if it were made up of rolls of coloured shapes that rest on the raw tiles, creating different settings thanks to the vast number of possible combinations.
Just like the original Folded

Asci was inspired by concrete’s original liquid state and how it moves as it’s being poured. His idea was to express that liquid-induced movement in a solid form while also designing single concrete tile that could in turn generate multiple patterns for residential and commercial uses.
The result is a three-dimensional tile that evokes movement in different ways, depending on which pattern it’s used in. The dynamic form creates visual illusions based on how the light hits it with the shadows also causing extra dimension and texture. As with all KAZA Concrete tiles, the collection comes in a multitude of colors to work

The Agrarian Collection, which features eight graphic patterns, was inspired by the rich Northern California landscape of crop formations surrounding its factory. The geometric layouts can be seen from the sky or aerial photography and translate perfectly into modern tiles.
With eight patterns and three color motifs (warm, cool, and white) to choose from, the possibilities for layouts are endless. You can stick to one pattern in one color, or create a patchwork using every color if you choose. Every tile is painted by hand where they let the glaze pool as it’s applied from the tip of the bottle.

Designed for Harmony by Peronda, the tile design was inspired by the principles of Gestalt psychology, much like the infamous Rubin vase/face, in that it’s just a simple square tile, but when slightly rotated, an optical illusion emerges.
NUC-tile-MUT-Harmony-Peronda-2 By shifting the square tile, the grout spaces create a feeling of movement and even begin to look like fishing nets or mesh fabric. NUC, which means ‘knot’ in Catalan, comes in three colors with four different options for grout colors. Ceramic Tiles Inspired By Chocolate

You read that right. Designed by Alberto Sánchez, ONZA is MUT Design’s latest collection of minimalist, ceramic tiles inspired by everyone’s favorite temptation: rich, melty chocolate.
OnzaTiles-_MG_4967 OnzaTiles-_MG_4964 OnzaTiles-_MG_4962 ONZA consists of three ceramic pieces with invisible joints, resulting in endless ways of configuration. Its texture and shape is reminiscent of chocolate bars, and the way the user can mix and fit them together is more like a creative game of Tetris. Depending on what look the user wants, the tiles can be repeated or combined in a playful way. GIFF 1 GIFF 2 The tiles come in three neutral colors meant to evoke different emotions—white, terracotta, and grey. Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby created two new, indoor/outdoor tile collections for Mutina that give the user creative control to design a unique space thanks to the endless combinations the tiles afford. Depending on how they’re laid out and what colors are used, the results can be simple tone-on-tone or a more dramatic, graphic pattern. Solid tiles can be mixed in to produce moments of calm or the bolder, geometric ones can become what looks like abstracted maps.
