The Milk Factory is Finally Open!

Hey y’all. Since ICFF, we’ve been cooking up something fun. As you may know, we have our popup, Milk Stand, at ICFF every year, but this year we actually had our own little booth selling fun stuff like tees, totes, pins and stickers (thanks Kelly!). Lots of people were asking how to buy them after the show, so we finally got around to making our own online shop, obviously named Milk Factory (what else?!?!). Our launch collection includes all the stuff we had at ICFF and an extra t-shirt we made for the super popular “I just really need to focus on my design right now.” Most of the products are proudly screen printed in Pittsburgh, and we hope to have more coming out in the future, but let’s see where this crazy rollercoaster ride takes us. (Oh AND we ship internationally!) Happy shopping!

The latest release includes graphic t-shirts and tote bags featuring a new round of prints and styles. Just like the first launch, the pieces celebrate the American design duo Charles and Ray Eames and their iconic contributions to the world of modern design. And like that first collection, the affordable new goods will probably sell out pretty quickly so jump on them before they’re gone.

Challky: A T-Shirt with a Drawable Surface

Do you love graphic tees but sometimes can’t find exactly what you want on one? Or maybe you just like to mix your message up from time to time. Challky is a minimalist t-shirt that comes with a surface where you can get creative and draw/write anything you want in chalk.
challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2 In school, chalkboards were a way of life, communicating to students new information on a daily basis. Restaurants and coffee shops use them to display their menus. Offices and conferences brainstorm ideas on them. Chalkboards allow anyone to share their ideas and become artists in their own right and that is how Challky came to be. challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2a If you don’t like what you’ve drawn or you’re ready for a new design, use a sponge with a little water to wipe it clean. White chalk comes with your t-shirt so you can get started immediately after it arrives. challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2b challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-3 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-3a challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-4 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-5 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-6 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-7

The following post is brought to you by Cotton Bureau. Our partners are hand-picked by the Design Milk team because they represent the best in design. Graphic Tees Designed by You from Cotton Bureau Clothing Cotton Bureau is a curated online community founded by web designers for high-quality graphic design tees, hoodies, and more (I know your inside voice is exclaiming “Yes”!). You can submit artwork for consideration, and they’ll handle all the other stuff like selling, printing, shipping, and customer service—all done locally in Pittsburgh, PA by their self-sustaining team of 5 people. So, even though it’s not Small Business Saturday anymore, you can still support small business by buying from them! Each shirt spends only 2 weeks on the website to pre-sell as many as possible. You know you want one, or two or three… so the good news is that Cotton Bureau has an awesome Cyber Monday deal going on that ENDS TODAY! So you better jump on it: Buy 2 shirts and get 50% shipping. He was wearing this t-shirt when he had the seizure. He fought for a long time before succumbing to the disease last week. Cotton Bureau donates a portion of the sale of this shirt to the Musella Center for Brain Tumor Research, whose hard work kept Aaron kickin just a little longer. Love that.
