Both collections are self-produced and focus on daily life where nature flows throughout with the hope of keeping one nourished and fulfilled.
Nontiscordardimé is a trio of colorful tables with leaf-like patterns showing up in the graphic tabletops through a series of lines that run perpendicular to another set. One of the tables features a vase to hold flowers or plants and another has a branch rising from the leg to act as a hanger. The tables can be overlapped by threading a leg through the lines of another’s top to create a composition or they can be used on their own. Both the vase and bowl can be removed. Adelina is a series of centerpieces that play with geometric shapes and lines with contrasting black and gold finishes. The golden

CIVIL Perfectly Brings a Scandinavian History to Modular Living

With people moving from place to place, especially city dwellers, furniture needs to work in a multitude of situations. It’s easy to go out there and spend less on disposable furniture every time we move, but it’s money down the drain and more trash in our overly filled landfills. Enter CIVIL. They’re a furniture brand that’s decided to explore a different approach – modular furniture for modular people – focusing on clean lines and accessibility for today’s nomadic culture. While the CIVIL brand calls New York City home, their Scandinavian roots run deep as third generation Norwegian furniture makers. Their heritage runs throughout their designs, as well as the way they run the business, aiming to bring the best furniture possible to more people without cutting any corners.
For those of us that love modern design, you know how high the prices can be, making it quite a stretch sometimes.

The curvy frames are constructed in stainless steel and finished with a semi-transparent custom weave that lets just enough light and air pass through. The sophisticated silhouettes rest low to the ground but are elevated slightly to give the appearance of being visually lightweight.

Dos by Diario: A Elegant Side Table with Versatility

Designed to be multifunctional, Dos is an elegant side table unveiled by Uruguay-based studio Diario. They’ve taken an untraditional approach by adding two circular platforms to a metal structure that resembles a sawhorse. The result is a piece of furniture with endless possibilities – place it by the sofa in the living room, next to a bed, or take it outside to be used on a balcony. It could even be used as a bar or plant holder.
Depending on the user’s preferred aesthetic, the surfaces can be made from different materials. The bottom one resembles a tray and is larger in size, while the top one is smaller and made from wood or marble.

Altai is a family of seating and tables that we launched in 2015. The defining characteristic of this body of work is what we call the leg element (others have said that they look like leg warmers or rifle barrels or any number of other things), which we manifest with a complex computer-driven carving process and a great deal of hand work. Altai was our first collection that embraced applied

As you take a longer look at W8, you’ll notice elements of visual weight, effective weight, graphic fragility and graphic mass all at play. The stability of the side table comes from the carved Pietra Serena stone that acts as a ballast to ground the rounded curves at the base. The four slender lacquered metal rods that sweep up to the table top helps to visually balance out the weightiness of the table.

The Scout is a solid walnut end table by San Diego, California-based Alchemy Mercantile, who drew inspiration from Danish design. With a mid-century modern vibe, the table is handmade and built to last without the need for screws or nails – strictly wood to wood joinery. This allows the wood to swell and shrink as the seasons and temperatures fluctuate throughout the year.
The table rests on three tapered legs with a lower wooden shelf and a top shelf made of “Low Iron” Starphire glass (reduced green hue and color reflection). At the back, a box-like planter joins the two levels making way for your favorite plant. Each table is finished with a combination of natural oils and wax, before being hand-buffed to get its matte sheen. The natural finishes will not harm your plant or pollute the soil in your planter box. A percentage of the sale of

Designer Ulrike Jurklies, of Dutch studio mo man tai, created a side table series inspired by leftover plastic material that’s generated when the color process machine is set up with a new dye. TINGE tables require no tools or hardware when assembled, instead the pieces have slots notched out where they easily fit together, letting you mix and match the pieces until you get the look you want.
The scrap plastic can be cut into all different shapes, offering up all kinds of table variations. And when the pieces are layered, it creates a cool visual effect with light, reflections, and shadows. The first prototypes were done in the colors shown but more options could be available. The TINGE tables were produced by Zweko Optics, with the materials coming from Arla Plast.

Focusing on compact living, Tatu created a two part series that uses a small space with maximum efficiency. Moreover, each piece is multifunctional, allowing it to adapt to users’ different needs.
Kvan clothes storage is a multifunctional piece that stores clothes temporarily. Meant for clothing that’s in everyday rotation, it’s a combination of a clothes rack and laundry bag. It helps users avoid piling up their clothes, and when laundry day rolls around, the clothes can be easily dropped into a removable bag and taken to the laundromat. Kvan side table is a small but mighty side table that helps keep all things organized and easily accessible. Ideal for small spaces near couches or beds, it can hold a multitude of things, including magazines, small objects and devices. The lower table board is

This time, showcasing new, unique work at the 2017 Architectural Design Show.
First is the new Volume Mirror Collection. This set of mirrors are unlike any we’ve seen. With strong, 3D geometric shapes, these sculptural objects diverge from typical function of a mirror. Rather than a tool to view one’s own reflection, these mirrors act as the focal point of the room. They’re made with colored glass and a hardwood frame, and come in convex and concave versions. Robert also added to his Gibbous Table line with a new coffee and side table. Both come in striking color combinations, making it look as if they’re graphic pieces of art rather than furniture. The new Gibbous Coffee Table can nest together and rotates. The Gibbous Side Table comes in a new, edgy black
