Fresh From The Dairy: Heading to the Stars

It’s almost inevitable that after you watch a space movie (Interstellar, in my case), you develop a newfound appreciation and sense of wonderment for the galaxies. It’s quite poetic how something so beautiful can make you feel so small. Inspired by space exploration, worm holes and other unexplainable phenomenon in the the galaxy and beyond, here are a few of our favorite picks from Society6:

After releasing their successful inaugural collection last October, UNIQLO just unveiled the 2nd SPRZ NY Eames collection for Spring/Summer 2018. The latest release includes graphic t-shirts and tote bags featuring a new round of prints and styles. Just like the first launch, the pieces celebrate the American design duo Charles and Ray Eames and their iconic contributions to the world of modern design. And like that first collection, the affordable new goods will probably sell out pretty quickly so jump on them before they’re gone.

Chill Out and Cool Down With Society6 Tanks

I live in Southern California, so we basically have summer weather all year long (it’s a curse and a blessing). Now that temperatures are getting warmer, I’ve been reaching for lightweight tees and tanks almost exclusively. I reach for more patterns while my husband reaches for more graphic prints, preferably one that gives a good chuckle when you “get” the design. At Society6, there’s more than enough tanks (and tees!) to keep both of us browsing for an hour, thanks to the incredible selection of designers and artists. They’re made with 100% fine jersey cotton (which means they’re ultra soft, ultra comfortable). Here’s a few I’m loving:

A Reflective Shirt That Goes From Biking to the Office

San Francisco-based startup, Ravelin, has created a new way to bring safety to a work shirt. The RS01 Riding Shirt is targeted at urban dwellers living an active lifestyle who need both to be safe biking to work and to be stylish and ready to go when they get there. At first glance, the shirt fabric looks to be a traditional Shepherd’s check, but what you don’t see is that the bespoke fabric has 3M retroreflective thread woven directly into the pattern. That means you can rock it in the office while being safe on the road without needing any extra gear to carry with you.
During the day, it’ll look like a you’ll look polished but throw some headlights up on you and you’ll glow making sure you’ll safely get to where you’re going. We all know just how cold it gets when the wind hits our body

Challky: A T-Shirt with a Drawable Surface

Do you love graphic tees but sometimes can’t find exactly what you want on one? Or maybe you just like to mix your message up from time to time. Challky is a minimalist t-shirt that comes with a surface where you can get creative and draw/write anything you want in chalk.
challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2 In school, chalkboards were a way of life, communicating to students new information on a daily basis. Restaurants and coffee shops use them to display their menus. Offices and conferences brainstorm ideas on them. Chalkboards allow anyone to share their ideas and become artists in their own right and that is how Challky came to be. challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2a If you don’t like what you’ve drawn or you’re ready for a new design, use a sponge with a little water to wipe it clean. White chalk comes with your t-shirt so you can get started immediately after it arrives. challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-2b challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-3 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-3a challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-4 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-5 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-6 challky-t-shirt-chalk-drawable-surface-7
