The folded clip Illusion Alphabet Bookmarks let you choose which letter or letters you prefer, whether it’s your initial, your child’s name, a memorable phrase, or anything that is special to you. Much like tattoos or necklaces with initials, letters are often used to represent our memories, just like these bookmarks can. Place them in a birthday card, in your favorite book, on a gift, and the bookmark will evoke memories based on what the letter stands for.
Each rounded letter bookmark features a cool pattern inspired by the optical illusion art of Victor Vasarely from the 1960s, making them little pieces of art on their own. The bookmarks are made from stainless spring steel so it has some give when papers are being inserted into it. It’s then treated with an electroplating technique to

Papila’s Food History Project

We’ve never done something like this before, but with only 2 DAYS LEFT in their Kickstarter campaign, we felt compelled to dedicate this month’s contribution to Papila’s Food History Project.
We first started following the Spanish design studio, Papila in 2011 when they launched their ingenious Citrus Spray, the first cooking utensil that allows spraying citrus juice using it’s own fruit as the container. We love this product and use it at Pinch for our raw bar installations, specialty cocktail infusions and more! Papila-Food-History-book-2 So when we heard they were putting together an infographic food history book, we couldn’t help but be very curious. And boy are we excited to share this with you guys! The Papila team has designed a beautiful book about the history of food – and how its relationship with humans has evolved. Using icons and brief explanations, this book will teach you about the evolution

Lots of fun projects in the design world we don’t want to pass up this month…from street art to watches! There’s only one thing we love more than good art… Good STREET art. If design makes everything better, why not architecture? Instagrafite boasts being the biggest street art gallery. They travel all over the world and are currently in Berlin. Dream Decor_Will Taylor Known for his bright pops of color over on Bright Bazaar Will Taylor is releasing a new book, Dream Decor. In his second book Will shares his vast knowledge of different design styles, along with recipes for re-creating them in your own home. Full of fun imagery, illustrations and design knowledge this book looks super entertaining. Fulguro Swiss designer Fulguro has created yet another product who’s simplicity matches its brilliance.
