Her work is process driven, exploring how to turn industrial waste materials into secondary raw materials to see if something new can be created. Through that exploration, Kidger created a durable composite material made with polyurethane foam dust that’s a by-product of CNC fabrication. Instead of that material going to a landfill, she’s able to cold cast it and create colorful 3D objects, like vessels and tables.
