MVRDV’s porous shopping mall in France breaks ground

The new design features a porous facade breaking up the exterior pattern and allowing for greater fluidity with its surrounding environment.&nbsp;

Dissolving the facade allows for a subtle shift from concrete to glass while also enhancing the pedestrian flow. The renovated facade features a depolluting coating on the concrete panels to improve air quality of the area.
