Final winners of the 2017 Tile Award announced

            <img src="https://archinect.imgix.net/uploads/ic/ic6uoc1zssm7eb2e.jpg?fit=crop&auto=compress%2Cformat&w=1200" border="0" />Winners of the <a href="http://bustler.net/competitions/5302/2017-tile-award-international-newcomer-award-for-architects-and-interior-designers-under-the-age-of-38" >2017 Tile Award competition</a> were recently announced awarding three projects for creative and advanced ideas illustrating varied design possibilities of ceramic tile.&nbsp;The contest was open to architects and interior designers under the age of 38, and called for the design of new and unconventional <a href="http://bustler.net/news/tags/interiors/6856" >interiors</a> with ceramic tiles.&nbsp;
A total of 63 projects from 20 countries were submitted. Of these, nine interpretations on the subject were selected in the first round for further developed in September 2017, during a workshop trip in Iceland to work our further details for realization. 
The final three prize winners were: 
  • Transmittance-Color Curtain by Avishkar Bharati, JDAP Design - Architecture - Planning
  • RE: TILE by Andreas Crynen, Dipl. Ing Architect, DE-Mönchengladbach
  • Stay Unique by Agnes Morguet, Agnes Morguet Interior Design, DE-Cologne
